An innovation project that aims to adapt the batteries to a new vehicle system – the Start Stop (it turns off the engine every time the driver stops, and reconnects when it accelerates). The project, developed by the EMBRAPII Unit of SENAI Institute of Electrochemical Innovation (ISI) and a consortium of 11 companies, will allow small and medium sized companies to adapt to the market. The estimate is that 100% of cars manufactured until 2021 will have the system.
