The Embrapii Innovation Unit of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (EU-IFSC) – Florianópolis Campus is accredited as an Embrapii Unit in the area of competence in Intelligent Energy Systems involving researchers and infrastructure belonging to the undergraduate courses in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Engineering Mechatronics, as well as a professional master’s degree in Power Systems, a specialization in Scientific Computing for Industries and a specialization in Electronic Product Development.
Within this area of competence, EU – IFSC will develop RD&I projects in the areas of: Development of Computerized Systems for the Management of Electric Energy Markets; Energy Efficiency and Smart Grids; Renewable Energy Sources; and Urban Mobility.
