The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM) was accredited to serve the national industry in developing RD&I in manufacturing process technologies.

Automation and control devices

Industrial automation devices: development of devices to automate production processes for the manufacturing industry, comprising electronic, mechanical, motion control, communication, and firmware systems, and device drivers.

Industrial process software and systems

Industrial process software and systems: development of software and computerized systems to optimize and integrate production and management processes for the manufacturing industry, comprising systems adhering to industry 4.0 concepts, such as simulation, Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

The following laboratories will be available for EMBRAPII:

1 – Digital Convergence Laboratory (Labcondig); and

2 – Mechanical Testing Laboratory (LECCOMB).
