About Tecgraf/PUC-Rio
With more than 30 years, the Tecgraf/PUC-Rio Institute has a trajectory that is based on the technical-scientific progress of the country. Founded in 1987, as a laboratory of the IT Department of PUC-Rio, Tecgraf/PUC-Rio is the result of a scientific and technological exchange agreement signed between PUC-Rio and Petrobras. In 2013, it became an institute of PUC-Rio, directly linked to the Vice-Rector of Development, with the commitment to maintain a bridge between university, society and industry. Throughout more than three decades, Tecgraf/PUC-Rio has expanded its skills and areas of expertise, establishing itself as a solid and traditional institution in the country’s computing technology sector.
