SENAI CIMATEC is accredited by EMBRAPII to assist in the area of Industrial Solutions with an advanced technological support program to promote applied research in integrated manufacturing technologies to serve the Brazilian industry, with development of projects in the sectors: Industrial Automation; Robotics; and Optimization of industrial processes.
It stands out with its main innovative projects on the competence area of the development of submarine robots, technologies for reuse of ore tailings, development of pilot plants, optimization of products and processes for the mining and chemical sectors, as well as solutions for lean manufacturing and simulations for aeronautical processes.

The Integrated Campus of Manufacturing and Technologies – SENAI CIMATEC, inaugurated in March, 2002, is one of the most advanced centers of education, technology and innovation in the country.
